Students Donate Their Hair to the Pantene Beautiful Lengths Campaign

Over 200 students at Seton High School, Cincinnati Ohio participated in the Pantene Beautiful Lengths Campaign.

These young ladies, willingly cut off and donated their long beautiful locks and tresses so that free wigs could be made for women who have lost their hair to cancer treatment.

As reported by The Cincinnati Enquirer, "As the crowd counted down the last 10 seconds on a scoreboard, the girls seated in rows on the floor bowed their heads. Other volunteers stood behind them with scissors at the ready. A few girls wiped away tears as their hair - at least 8 inches long - was cut and captured in plastic bags and placed in laundry baskets." (and may they all be blessed!)

There to cheer them on & one of the hottest hair designers of the hour was Tippi Shorter. She's a Pantene celebrity hairstylist that has cut and styled singer/actor Beyonce Knowles. Any girl who was lucky enough to hold a winning golden ticket was afforded the opportunity to sit in Tippi's chair. This was definitely a Wow Factor for them.

Classes were not in session for this day, instead a wordship service was held for those battling with or those who are survivors of cancer. And, for one day their classrooms and hallways were turned into a salon.

Beautiful Length has made over 14,000 hair donations.
