Issuing Marriage Licenses to Gay Couples the Moral Equivalent of Gassing Jews

Sometimes ignorance and stupidity can really just leave you dumbfounded ---

"Save California, an anti-gay group that is calling asking it supporters to call county clerks and demand that they refuse to issue marriage licenses to gay couples."

Ask your county clerk if they were a Nazi officer during WWII and had been ordered to gas the Jews, would they? At the Nuremberg trials, they would have been convicted of murder for following this immoral order.
This has since been removed from their website: Save California - Campaign for Children and Families. I mean they are seriously funny but they are emotionally crippled.

Yet, these are the kind of so-called moral and God abiding Christians that if the opportunity presented itself would kill you as you walked down a public street.

Sad little creatures aren't they?

My Signature Saves Many of Lives

I discovered this over at Coffee Stained News.

Put in the most creative way of explanation, exactly what your Signature can do to save the life of another person. If you've ever considered what's the use? This will give you great meaning.

Signature 2007 won a Gold Lions Prize in the Cannes.

The video in animation makes it look so simple - ink your signature - immediately a life has been rescued. And you know what? It is that simple. Signing the petition takes us one step closer to saving a life and winning the cause.

There is lots of work to be done, visit Amnesty International"

Race for Rights, Activism in the Dustbowl

Every year between 600,000 to 800,000 people, which are mostly comprised of women and children are exploited across national borders. They are forced into labor and/or sexual exploitation. Made to work long and grueling hours with sub-standard pay. Many are sold as sex slaves, abused and raped.

The event Race for Rights was organized by The Vietnamese Students Association (VSA). It was put together to raise money and aid victims of Human Trafficking.

Rev. Peter Nguyen Van Hung, executive director of the Vietnamese Migrant Workers and Brides office in Taiwan and founding member of the grassroots organization, VietACT (Vietnamese Alliance to Combat Trafficking) was the keynote speaker.

Reverend Hung with the help of the Vietnamese Migrant Workers have established shelters and safe havens for the victims. He fights to bring them back to their legal stages.

"The Vietnamese government does not care [about the issue]. We have to raise awareness in Vietnam and in our government. The U.S. has paid attention to the problem รข€¦ but it is still a very big problem," said Hung.
