Birmingham mayor rains on city's pride parade
Well....he ain't no fun!
"Saying it's inappropriate for government to "condone" a "lifestyle, Birmingham, Ala., Mayor Larry Langford has turned down Central Alabama Pride's request for a parade permit and an annual pride proclamation, and will not let the group place banners on city property. "It's a slap in the face to the gay community, to just shrug us off like we're not important," said longtime parade participant Ronald Simoneau. The Birmingham News (Ala.)"

Apparently he is a deuche who also doesn't adequately fund HIV programs.
i'm sure he prolly believes it's just a gay disease something we deserve - ignorance ain't bliss people!
